Two Tatler honours in three years
Best Tropical Concept in 2023 for The Outdoor House. Designers on the Rise in 2021.
Quod Architects is an architecture and interior design studio in Singapore, led by principal architect Diong Fuhan.
Tatler has recognised the studio twice. In 2021 it was one of three firms named in the new Designers on the Rise category of the Tatler Design Awards. In 2023, The Outdoor House won Best Tropical Concept at the Tatler Homes Design Awards Singapore.
Best Tropical Concept, for The Outdoor House
Presented by Villeroy & Boch
The Outdoor House is a reconstruction in District 10. The studio added a third storey and gave the children's floor its own exterior spiral stair.
The house is built to be lived in with the windows open: angled fins shade the western face, and a deep roof cantilever turns the rain away.
"A rustic-looking yet utterly sophisticated abode by Quod Architects."

Designers on the Rise
A new category for young design firms
Tatler opened the Designers on the Rise category in 2021 to recognise young Singapore design firms. Quod Architects was one of the three firms named in it.
Fuhan appears in Tatler's film of the 2021 winners. The clip runs nineteen seconds.
