What We Do

Two disciplines, one studio

Quod Architects was established with a single goal: to bring architecture and interior design together under one roof, and to carry a project from the first sketch through to the day it opens.

The Approach

We capture the essence of a building and its dynamics by paying full attention to what a client needs, from the moment work begins.

A deep understanding of a client's requirements matters to us. We partner closely with each client as soon as work starts, and we keep that partnership through every stage that follows. Our architectural work spans hospitality, commercial, high-rise residential, and landed houses across Singapore, Malaysia, the Middle East, and China.

Interior design grew naturally from that architectural background. With an appreciation for refined detail and quality, we cater to a discerning clientele. By combining both disciplines, we design holistic buildings and spaces, and we see them through to completion rather than handing them off halfway.

Our Process

A process-driven culture

Our process-driven culture is what allows us to perfect the product and the project outcome. Architectural commissions are broadly categorized into six stages, while interior design follows a leaner four-stage path. Each stage involves detailed work, so that one phase feeds cleanly into the next.

Architecture

Six stages, concept to completion

Site investigation, schematic design, design development, tender, construction, and completion. Each stage carries its own deliverables and authority submissions. The full sequence is set out on the architecture service page.

Interior Design

Four stages, brief to handover

Preliminary design, design development, construction, and completion. A more compact path, but no less considered. The journey does not end at handover: we work with contractors through the defects period.
